Dallas Lake Park

140 acres on the south shore of Dallas Lake. A wetland observation deck overlooks Pond Lil, a state nature preserve. A 1.75 mile walking trail meanders through wetland, prairie, and woods.

A sandy beach with a swimming pier is open in summer.  No lifeguards on duty - Swim at your own risk.          Children must have adult supervision.   No pets are allowed on the beach.              

The Dallas Lodge and Sweetgum Pavilion are available for group rental.

Park Admission

  • $5 per car, buggy, or motorcycle
  • $1 per person on bicycles, buses, and 10 to 15-passenger vans
  • Annual pass is $40
  • No charge for trailhead parking hiking access
