Why didn't I get a notice that my taxes were delinquent?

Answer

We send out one billing in the spring of each year. That bill has two payment stubs; one to make a payment in May and another for November. Due to the expense of mailing, no other reminder is mailed. We do send a courtesy letter if your taxes become so delinquent that your property has become eligible for tax sale if left unpaid.
