When do I report to probation?
If you are sentenced directly to probation, you will report to probation immediately after your court hearing. If you have time to serve in home detention, work release, jail or prison, you will report to probation, in person, within 48 hours of your release from incarceration.
Where do I pay my probation user fees, court costs, fine, restitution, etc.?
All fees are paid on the 1st floor of the LaGrange County Court House. No payments are accepted at the Probation Department.
How do I transfer my probation to another county or state?
You will need to meet with your probation officer, in person, in LaGrange County to have your probation transferred.
Where do I do my community service?
When you meet with your probation officer, they will go over the community service expectations. All community service hours will be completed in the LaGrange County Road Crew or at a non-for profit organization, as directed by your probation officer.
What do I do if I missed my scheduled probation appointment or can’t make my scheduled probation appointment?
Call the Probation Department as soon as possible for instructions. If you reach the voice mail, please leave ONE message with your name and phone number.
