JURY INFORMATION
ATTIRE:
Business casual. Due to environment changes, a sweater or jacket may be desired.
LENGTH OF SERVICE:
Length of service is until the assigned trial is completed, usually 1-3 days.
SECURITY:
You may be required to go through a metal detector upon entering the courtroom.
ATTENDANCE FEES:
Jurors are paid $15.00 for appearing. If you are selected to serve, you will be paid $40.00 per day of service. You will be paid mileage at the rate of 40¢ a mile.
Meals
If you are selected to serve as a juror meals and refreshments will be provided for you.
Children
Do not bring your children. Daycare service is not available.
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Parking is available on the North side of the Courthouse along Michigan Street, on the East side of the Courthouse along Detroit Street, and on the South side of the Courthouse along Spring Street.
